# Manage the VM of a service

When you create a service using one of our one-click installers, a virtual machine is created using a special template. You can manage this virtual machine just like any other.
Click **Virtual machine** under **Compute** in the left-hand menu. Then, click on the virtual machine that runs your service.
From here, you can manage the VM just like any other. For more information, please refer to our [KVM How-to guides](/products/compute/kvm-virtual-machines/how-tos.md). Here, you'll find information on how to connect to your VM via SSH, how to manage your VM, create backups, and much more.
