Use custom DNS servers for a domain where Glesys is the registrar

If you registered a domain with Glesys, you can still use other DNS servers if you like.

Set custom DNS servers for a domain using the control panel

It is possible to have a domain name registered with Glesys while using your own DNS servers if you desire. Click Manage for the relevant domain name to open its overview, then click Change nameservers.

Next, enter your custom nameservers in the list and then click Change nameservers.

Immediately after changing the nameservers, a warning may appear for a few hours. This is because the changes have not yet been propagated globally. The warning will disappear after some time.

Use the domain/changenameservers endpoint of the API to set the DNS servers for a domain.
